Resorts compete with fireworks up and down White Beach while beach bars run DJ sets until sunrise. The island's biggest night of the year.
Tip: Book flights and rooms by October; many resorts require a minimum stay over NYE.

Ati-Atihan Festival 2027
Monday 11 January 2027 to Sunday 17 January 2027. KaliboKalibo town proper
The 'mother of all Philippine festivals': soot-faced revellers dance through Kalibo to drumbeats for days, with anyone welcome to join. 'Hala bira!' plus a lot of cold beer.
Tip: Stay in Kalibo for the climax weekend, then hop to Boracay (about 2 hours away) to recover.

Love Boracay (Labor Day weekend)

Boracay's Labor Day blowout, officially rebranded 'Love Boracay', still draws the year's biggest beach-party crowd: in 2026 the 1 May line-up included DJ beach parties at Station 1 and Epic at Station 2. May 1 2027 is a Saturday, so expect a full long weekend.
Tip: Flights to Caticlan sell out early; book by February.
