Bar Long Fong (Beijing) takes over Raion

A Philippine Cocktail Fiesta spin-off brings Beijing's Bar Long Fong behind the counter at Raion, the café-by-day cocktail room that Tatler named best new bar of 2025. A rare chance to drink a ranked Chinese bar's menu without leaving San Juan.
Tip: Raion is a small third-floor room; message @raion.mnl on Instagram to ask about seats before going.
5 Seconds of Summer: Everyone's a Star! World Tour

Back-to-back nights of 5SOS at MOA Arena, plus a third show added for Nov 29. The Bay Area bars around MOA are the natural pre- and after-party.
Tip: A third show was added on 29 November at the same arena if the first two nights are sold out.
My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade 2026

MCR's rescheduled Black Parade show finally lands at the Philippine Arena. Expect a sea of black eyeliner and emo-night afterparties back in Manila.
Tip: Tickets bought for the original April date are still valid.
Carrots (Jakarta) takes over Malagihay Cocktail Club

The day after the Cebu Cocktail Fiesta wraps, Jakarta's Carrots crew lands at Malagihay, the living-room bar above Mabuhay Craft Coffee that greets every group with a shot of sioktong. Expect a one-night menu mixing both bars' styles.
Tip: It's a Monday guest shift, so the room should be easier to get into than a weekend night; the bar opens at 6pm.
Higantes Festival
Sunday 22 November 2026 to Monday 23 November 2026. Angono (Rizal)Town streets and Laguna de Bay shore
Angono's barangays parade more than a hundred giant papier-mâché figures for the feast of San Clemente on 23 November, with a fluvial procession on the lake. The 'basaan' tradition means you will get soaked, and the town turns into one long street party.
Tip: Wear clothes you don't mind drenched and bag your phone; Angono is about an hour east of Ortigas by car.
Simple Plan: Bigger Than You Think Tour
Wednesday 25 November 2026. Metro ManilaSmart Araneta Coliseum, Cubao
The pop-punk band behind every 2000s emo night play the Big Dome on a Wednesday. Cubao's bars and the Cubao Expo strip next door will catch the singalong overflow.
Tip: The show starts at 8pm; walk to Cubao Expo afterwards rather than queueing for a ride out.

NCT 127: The Redline NEO City Manila

NCT 127's fifth tour stops at MOA Arena right in the thick of Christmas-party season.
Tip: December weekends mean gridlock on Roxas Blvd; give yourself an extra hour.
The Hudson Rooms (Hanoi) x BRB

Hanoi's The Hudson Rooms closes out the 2026 Cocktail Fiesta exchange with a collaboration night at Solaire's BRB. A good excuse to fold a proper cocktail stop into the December party season.
Tip: The same night NCT 127 plays MOA Arena nearby, so expect heavy Entertainment City traffic; arrive early or late.
Afrojack live in Manila

The Dutch big-room DJ returns for a Thursday-night show at SMX with local DJs THRYMOLLY, Katsy Lee, ISH and Carla Cray on the bill. It lands right in office-party season, so expect a loud, boozy crowd.
Tip: Doors are at 5pm; only the ₱8,500 VIP package gets into the alcohol area, so drink beforehand at the bayside bars if you buy a cheaper ticket.
BGC New Year Countdown
Thursday 31 December 2026 to Friday 1 January 2027. Metro Manila5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City
The country's biggest street countdown: a free concert on 5th Avenue, light shows and fireworks, with BGC's bars and rooftops all running NYE parties.
Tip: Arrive before 8pm and plan to walk out; roads close and cars won't move until well past 1am.
Manila Bay New Year Fireworks

Westlife: 25th anniversary tour

Westlife bring their 25th anniversary tour to MOA Arena; the first night sold out and a second was added. Expect the bayside bars around the arena to fill with a nostalgic, karaoke-ready crowd.
Tip: Philstar once reported 27 January; most outlets and the ticketing news give 20–21 January, so check SM Tickets before booking.

World's-best-list bars pair up with Manila's top cocktail spots for one-night-only menus, a different neighbourhood each evening. The inaugural 2026 edition ran in early February.
Tip: Pick one neighbourhood night and bar-hop on foot; the popular takeovers fill up by 9pm.
Maroon 5: Asia 2027 Tour

BTS World Tour 'Arirang'

BTS return to the Philippines for two stadium nights, easily the biggest concert of 2027. Expect sold-out hotels and ARMY meetups all over Manila.
Tip: Tickets ran ₱7,500–₱25,000; use official Live Nation channels only, as scams spike for BTS.
The Script: Man in the Arena Tour
Thursday 18 March 2027. Metro ManilaSM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay
The Irish band play a single Thursday night at MOA Arena, a week before Holy Week shuts much of the city down. A pub-anthem crowd that will want a pint afterwards.
Tip: Book a post-show table at a bayside bar ahead; Seaside Boulevard places fill quickly after arena shows.
Holy Week: Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday
Thursday 25 March 2027 to Saturday 27 March 2027. Metro ManilaNationwide
Maundy Thursday and Good Friday (25–26 March) are regular holidays and Black Saturday is a special day; the city empties and many bars close or run short hours. Some cities go further: in 2024 Manila banned selling and drinking alcohol within 500 metres of Catholic churches on both days.
Tip: Check your bar's Holy Week hours and your city's liquor order before going out; the beach towns are where the parties move.

Mabrewhay Craft Beer Festival
Friday 7 May 2027 to Sunday 9 May 2027. Metro ManilaAyala Triangle Gardens, Makati
Engkanto-led craft-beer festival with 60+ Filipino brews, free entry and the Brew King Philippines competition. The 2026 edition ran the second weekend of May.
Tip: Entry is free but pours aren't; bring cash and go Friday evening to beat the crowd.
Bruno Mars: The Romantic Tour
Saturday 15 May 2027 to Tuesday 18 May 2027. BulacanPhilippine Arena
Bruno Mars plays three nights at the Philippine Arena (15, 16 and 18 May) with Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee, plus Silk Sonic. It's a party-starter show if there ever was one.
Tip: There is no show on 17 May; check which night your ticket is for, and leave Manila early for Bocaue.

Fête de la Musique Philippines 2027
Tuesday 1 June 2027 to Wednesday 30 June 2027. Metro ManilaPocket stages nationwide; main stage in Makati (2026: Ayala Triangle Gardens)
A free, month-long music festival with dozens of pocket stages in bars and venues, plus a big main-stage night around June 21. Perfect for bar-hopping to live sets.
Tip: Follow the pocket-stage schedule; the bar stages are where the best drinking-and-gig nights are.
Independence Day

Independence Day falls on a Saturday in 2027, so there is no extra long weekend, but the Friday night before is a busy one. Bars stay open as normal.
Tip: Expect road closures around Rizal Park and Kawit for the official ceremonies in the morning.
Metro Manila Pride March & Festival

Southeast Asia's largest Pride march, followed by a festival and all-night parties in Malate, Poblacion and Cubao. Usually the last Saturday of June.
Tip: Hydrate; it's June heat. The after-parties are where the night really starts.

San Miguel Oktoberfest kick-off

San Miguel's nationwide beer-and-band tour opens with a big Okada Manila night, then rolls through provincial cities every Saturday in October. Cheap pale pilsen, OPM headliners and a very local crowd.
Tip: 2026 kicked off on 26 September and stopped in Batangas, Tuguegarao, Pampanga, Manila, Iloilo and Agusan del Sur; watch San Miguel's pages for the 2027 stops.

German Club Manila Oktoberfest 2027

Manila's longest-running Oktoberfest: steins, sausages, oompah and dancing on benches. The 2026 edition was the 86th.
Tip: Tables sell out; buy as a group and go in dirndl or lederhosen for the full experience.
Halloween Weekend in Poblacion
Saturday 30 October 2027 to Sunday 31 October 2027. Metro ManilaPoblacion, Makati
Costume parties take over Poblacion's bars and clubs as Halloween falls on a weekend in 2027, right before the All Saints' long weekend.
Tip: Nov 1–2 are 2027 holidays, so Sunday night goes late; book tables early.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Noche Buena feasts on Dec 24 and family gatherings on Christmas Day. Bars are quieter on the night itself but buzzing in the days around it, as office parties peak in mid-December.
Tip: Many bars close or close early on Dec 24–25; check before heading out.
BGC New Year Countdown 2028

Another free 5th Avenue street concert and fireworks to ring in 2028. Dec 31 is a special non-working day in 2027 and falls on a Friday.
